Nonprofit leadership is what led Jim to pursue a career in the law.  Lawyers enter the profession for many reasons.  After working in the nonprofit and higher education sector for almost a decade Jim shifted plans from pursuing an educational focused doctorate to the law.

Now with thirty years experience working with a great diversity of nonprofit organizations Jim thrives on helping people doing good do it better.  Beyond law school Jim earned a Certificate in Nonprofit Managment at Duke University, completing that program in 2011.
